Love this place. Best sandwiches in town!

“Magical” might be a stretch but the sandwiches here more than live up to the hype. It was hard to branch out from their basic veggie but the egg salad is pretty amazing, too. You definitely don’t come here for the atmosphere so call ahead and take it to go. Not that this is going to be a problem, but I recommend eating them the same day—they get a little soggy otherwise.

I cannot lie their sandwiches are indeed the best. You know their sandwiches are good when my 11 year old and my 14 year old daughters both look forward to going there especially whenever we mention the name MSM Deli.

Can't go wrong with a Mike deluxe.

I don't understand why everyone likes this place. Heard it was the best place in Tacoma and its just any other boring sandwich that I can get anywhere. We got the Mike's Deluxe and a Philly cheese steak. The bread was old and dry. Barley put any mayo or mustard on it which didn't help the dry bread. The Philly was flavorless and dry. The prices were decent but the sandwiches weren't worth going back for.

Best sandwich place in Tacoma. Forget the chain stores and corporate names. This place beats em all. But be advised it is definitely a dive joint that may put you off at first appearance. It's a bit run down structurally but it is great food. Try the magic cookiea (no illicit additives) just magical in taste. And believe me these sandwiches are the best. Just try it out you'll be satisfied.I'd recommend the French dip!

I did not phone in an order, only had to wait maybe 10 minutes. Food was delivered to my truck and I'm going to enjoy in a few minutes

No frills deli, doing it right. Great sandwiches, can get a drink as you wait. Staff is kind and helpful.

25 minute wait but they are hands down the best sandwich in Tacoma. Plus the price for the size of it can't be beat anywhere.

Good neighborhood deli- wouldnt drive out of my way for it but it was good. Staff was nice but a little rougher area. They haven’t done much with their building up keep. No bathroom.

Tacoma icon. Been a customer since I can remember. Never had a bad sandwich. Always fast service. Definitely a must try when visiting in the area!

What can I say? This is a Tacoma institution, the Magical Sandwich Makers are still going strong in 2020. If you want more deli sandwich than you can eat? This is your spot. I have it on good authority that if you miss your New York sandwich, this is the joint. Call ahead to avoid the long lines during peak hours, the call in counter is to the right when entering. Want some good regional beers, check out the wide selection of labels of beer and wine.

MSM is one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. I try to go here as often as possible. The Mike's Deluxe is amazing. This is truly one of the (not so) hidden gems of Tacoma. I'd recommend calling ahead if you can believe they are always busy. So great. If you want an amazing sandwich for a good price, I highly recommend you eat here. You will not regret it.

Always delicious. Easy pick up. Original wait time was 45 minutes. But knowing how popular this place is and it being a weekend i called and placed an order. When I got there it was ready and as simple as pay and go. I'll always recommend this place to new comers to the area. They never disappoint.

Ever heard of don't judge a book by it's cover? Well this is the sandwich shop that is the reason why that quote exist. Who would of thought a hole in the wall would make delicious sandwiches. The wait times are high. After you try these you will understand why. Delicious sandwiches. The staff is really nice and always working hard.

Mmmm mmmm good. This was my second visit so I made sure they added oil & vinegar to my sub 9 inch sub. I also got four of their signature cookies. OH MY, they were so good make you wanna slap yourself!😂

Hand crafted delicious sandwiches. First time in tonight and my sandwich was amazing very flavorful and great portions. The price is good compared to Similar sandwich places. Nice market full of chips and drinks to grab with your sandwich too! Small dining area but I would rather grab it to go!

The softest French 🍞 I've ever had at a sandwich place.MSM (magic sandwich makers) is a Tacoma Institution and should be on your go-to list of places when you visit Tacoma or you have family in from out of town. Free parking, huge selection of drinks (including 21+ libations), and a surprisingly large seating area in the back.The Magic Cookies are amazing 😍🙌🙌

This place is the best. Made from scratch sandwiches and soups. A must if you want to find a great local spot in tacoma.

I’m never going to Subway again. Their prices are better for the amount you get and it all tastes so good! And I’m not a big fan of the street parking on 6th Ave, but thankfully they have a nice big parking lot.

Sandwiches are phenomenal and have been for years. MSM is a local hub in our community. Similar style sandwich like Jimmy Johns but much larger and better tasking. The staff is quick to assist. Can sometimes be busy around lunchtime because their food is great. And the cookies are next level.

The size is worth the price you pay. All ingredients are equally flavorful. Each bite I took, I was able to taste the cheese, meat, and veggies. No ingredient overpowered the other. There is amount of small table seating in the front, but a whole lot more seating in the back area.

Phone not in service. Been calling all day. No way to message via Facebook. No delivery or take out app. No website to order from. 30 min to drive then wait 30 min for my order... Not worth it

My coworker had been recommending this place to me for a long time and I finally made it there. Boy is it worth it. The sandwich was delicious, I had the deli club. But making a decision was hard because there are so many good looking options that I'll need to come back to try later. It was busy at lunch time but the wait time wasn't bad.

Literally the best sandwiches in Tacoma. It probably give the Puget sound a good run for its money. You get twice the sandwich that subway gives you for a comparable length of sub

Hands down my favorite sandwich shop. Calling ahead to pick up is smart. The shop gets very busy although they are experts at quick and delicious sandwich making. The selection of beverages is top notch... I found a rare Swiss cider there I had been searching for. I recommend the mikes deluxe add bacon and avocado. Also the French dip is delicious. Lastly the magic cookies are mouthwatering!

I'm sure everyone knows how amazing MSM Deli sandwiches are BUT I just want to give props to their professional and efficient ways during this pandemic. They have a walkup window and if you order there, they bring the finished magic to you in your vehicle. You can always order online as well. 💪💯 The parking lot is packed, as usual and everyone is soooooooo happy they're back open and making these magical sandwiches 😍

MSM is hands down my favorite place in Tacoma to get a deli style sub sandwich. My go to is the Mike's Deluxe with some added bacon. A sandwich you won't regret. There's also a nice selection of chips and beverages, from sodas, iced teas and juices, to the alcoholic fare: domestics and crafts, to wine.There can be a bit of a wait if you come in around the lunch rush, between 11-2ish, so I recommend calling your order in.

yea, 1600 people 5 stars what could i add?invited a few friends to lunch & it was soooo good I had to take picts, & all were very happy to be there, & every bite was 'ahhh!' no kiding all around the table. this never happens at a lot of real good places which there alot on the 6th ave they are not among the best, the MSM are the best. love you guys, thank you & peace to you! I had 1/2 samwich & soup for less than $8 my boys ate all those giant samiches wow.I kid you not. It is so good, & fun that remind me of the Niel Diamond song dddd so good you can not describe...yea that good love you guys1

Great sandwiches! Huge! A 6 inch at MSM is twice the size of any other sandwich place.

If you have eaten here, you already know! The quality of the food, especially for the price, is AMAZING. Best sandwiches in Washington. Do yourself a favor and enjoy their wonderful delights! SPECIAL NOTE: Call the order in ahead of time. Their phones are a bit wonkie, stating the "Verizon customer you have called in no longer in service." This is the busy signal for their phone....keep calling, you will eventually get through.

I love you guys, but can you PLEASE have 2 people working your registers, especially during covid? One small change & the efficiency of your business woile skyrocket.

Coming back to MSM feels like reacquainting yourself with a friend who you haven't seen for a long time, to start off with it might take a little bit to get back in the flow ( I remember when MSM didn't have lines, I'm happy for them just sad it takes 3x as long to get a sandwich.) But once you get in the flow you remember why you liked them so much. I am incredibly impressed that over ten years since I started going to MSM the quality has not dropped, and prices have only gone up marginally. I will always have fond memories of MSM, and I hope they continue making great sandwiches for many more years.

Went there with family for lunch. Family enjoyed their humongous sandwiches. I couldn't finish my very meaty delicious New York Style Gyro. Even though it is a grocery store and a sandwich shop there is plenty of seating. You will be more comfortable sitting in the front among the grocery shelves tempting you with their bags of chips.. Lol

Best deli in the area hands down! Being from NY I’m always on the hunt for food that reminds me of home and this is the place to get a real deli sandwich. Food is always fresh and delicious!
